3 - 4 months after then event, the amount of articles in newspapers and magazines will likely greatly decrease as other events occur and take over the news cycle (this part of the timeline will vary depending on local/state/national/international events). Articles published would include things like updated information (such as any legal action, recovery efforts/effects, etc.) and targeted perspective pieces.
To find coverage from 3 - 4 months after the event through the library, you can limit the search in one of our databases to just those months/years (usually under advanced search).
Gale General OneFile and Academic Search Complete are both good database to search. Under the advanced search, you can easily limit to sources from the specific date range (see example below for a search of the Notre Dame Fire that occurred April 15, 2019).
