Month After Event

After a month, more magazine and newspaper articles will be published, usually with greater depth and different angles on the event. After effects/consequences of the event with be covered (recovery efforts, any legal proceedings, etc.). Some media may put the event in context of other similar events. 

How/Where to Search

To find coverage from a month after the event through the library, you can limit the search in one of our databases to just that month/year (usually under advanced search). 

Gale General OneFile and Academic Search Complete are both good database to search. Under the advanced search, you can easily limit to sources from the following month after the event (see example below for a search of the Notre Dame Fire that occurred April 15, 2019).
