Noodle Tools - Portfolio Assistance

As part of OTA 105, you’ll begin building a portfolio that will grow throughout your time in the program. This portfolio is a collection of sources—articles, books, videos, and other materials—that you’ll save and return to as you move through your coursework.

To help you keep track of your sources, we’ll be using NoodleTools, an online tool that makes it easy to collect, organize, and cite research. With NoodleTools, you can:

  • Save sources you find in the library databases, catalog, or online

  • Keep all your research in one place

  • Create correctly formatted citations for your assignments

  • Add notes to remind yourself why a source is useful

Think of NoodleTools as your personal research notebook. It will keep your portfolio organized and ready to use whenever you need it.
